Nepal is a trendy destination. It has a unique culture. It gives tourists the possibility of exploring the highest peaks of Himalaya and hide in itself beautiful lakes like Fewa in Pokhara. Places to see in Nepal

  • Pashupatinath Temple: It is one of the main temples of Nepal dedicated to Lord Shiva. You can find many Sadhus in the vicinity of the temple with very colorful dresses. They are more like actors wandering there for the money. On the other side of the Bagmati river, you can see live cremation going on throughout the day.
  • Bouddhanath Stupa: It is the largest Buddha Stupa in Nepal and second in the world. A pilgrimage place for Buddhists and also for many tourists coming to Nepal. On the top of Stupa, one can see Buddha's eye in all four directions symbolizing the spread of Buddha's wisdom in all directions.
  • Swyambhunath Stupa: It is another magnificent Stupa in Nepal. It is located high on the hills. One has to climb hundreds of stairs to reach the top of the Stupa. The Stupa is an architectural marvel having a string of prayer wheels. Live prayer goes on in a hall. The complex includes a Tibetan monastery, restaurants, a wish-fulfilling pond, and a lot of small souvenir shops. This is a perfect place to know more about Buddhism while walking through.
  • Patan City: This is second largest city in Kathmandu Valley not very far from Kathmandu and also known as Lalitpur. The central Durbar square of Patan city is a must-visit place. A lot of ancient temples of great importance and unique architecture are in its vicinity. It is a UNESCO world heritage site. The tour to Nepalis not complete without visiting Patan City.
  • Bhaktapur Town: Like other cities, Bhaktapur too has a beautiful central square. Here you can see Nyatapola temple, the Lion Gate, Changu Narayan Temple. It is an ancient Newar town where you can see the daily livelihood of people. Here you can see artisans making the pottery from the clay. A great place to explore on foot!
  • Kathmandu Durbar Square: There are many squares in Kathmandu and nearby cities. Squares are an essential center of the cities. Here one can find many government organization buildings, offices, Kumari Chowk, temples, and museums.
  • Pokhara: A real holiday place in an exemplary surrounding of Mountains and Lakes. There are a lot of activities in this city that can keep tourists busy during an extended vacation. You can enjoy an evening boat ride in Fewa Lake, early sunrise on Fishtail mountain (Annapurna Hills), and Paragliding. One can see Caves and ancient temples. Don't forget to have dinner in some of the famous lakeside multi-cuisine restaurants in Pokhara. You can reach here by appx 6-hour drive from Kathmandu or by half an hour flight by Buddha Air.
  • Trekking in Nepal: Nepal is famous for trekking and hiking as one of the world's highest peak Everest is here. One can choose many trekking programs in Nepal, and the famous ones are Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp.
