Pilgrimage tour to Heavenly Himalayas (12 Nights 13 Days Tour Program)

Day 1: Arrive Delhi and overnight stay.

Day 2: Take Shatabdi train to Haridwar . Spend two night in Haridwar getting close to hindu religion by visiting the important places and temples being visited by hindus. Haridwar can be translated as door of the God. The city is very old and considered as one of the auspicious places to be visited by hindus. You can visit Chandi Devi, Bharat Mata temple, Shanti kunj temple, Mayadevi temple, Bhimgoda, Pawan Dham and Mansa Devi temple. After visiting the temples and holy places in Haridwar drive to Ananda Spa hotel. Overnight in Haridwar.

Day 3: Day at rest to enjoy the beauty of Himalayas in your luxurious hotel Ananada Spa. The hotel is located at very quite and scenic place. It has a very beautiful and romantic territory. You can enjoy many Spa programmes in the hotel. Overnight.

Day 4: Drive from Haridwar to Rishikesh. On arrival see the Ashrams and temples of Rishikesh. Also visit Ram Jhula and Parmarth Ashram famous for daily Ganga Aarti (it is a ritual where prayers are offered to the holy river Ganges by chanting the old hymn from vedas). Overnight in Rishikesh.

Day 5: Stay one more night in Rishikesh exploring the heart of hindu religion by being acquaintance to the local culture and livelihood of the religious city. Visit nearby places including Vashisht Gufa, the place where famous saint has spent his time in meditation. Overnight.

Day 6: Drive from Rishikesh to Dehradun and arrive to the hill station of Mussourie. Mussourie will take you closer to the Himalayas. It is located at the altitude of 6170 sqft. Enjoy the heavenly beauty of Himalayas. Mussourie has always been a hotspot for Bollywood movies for long time. Overnight in Mussourie.

Day 7: Drive from Mussourie to Chandigarh. Overnight stay in Moksha Spa, the second most luxurious hotel in Himalaya after Ananda. It is located at Parwanoo near Chandigarh. Enjoy the cable rope drive for reaching the hotel. Overnight.

Day 8: Next day drive from Chandigarh to Manali. On the way visit small place called Naggar. Here you can see Nicholas Roerich art gallery and Naggar Palace. Once you reach Manali you can see the top most favourable destination of India during the summer time. An ideal place for honeymooners. Overnight.

Day 9: In the morning do a small tour of Manali before proceeding to Dharamshala. In Manali you can see Hidimba temple, Manu temple and the Tibetan Monastery. Drive to Dharamshal and on the way visit Baijnath temple. Dharamshala is the holy place where Dalai Lama spent most of his time. Overnight in Dharamshala.

Day 10: Today you will visit His Holiness Palace, Namgyal Monastery. Get the knowledge of Tibetan religion by visiting Tibetan Library. Also visit the Tibetan culture centre and drive to Amritsar. Overnight in Amritsar.

Day 11: In Amritsar you can see the great Golden Temple which is the most holy place for Sikh religion. In the afternoon drive to the Wagah border of India and Pakistan in order to enjoy the great flag ceremony performed by soldiers of India and Pakistan. Overnight.

Day 12: In the morning take Shatabadi train to Delhi and on arrival transfer to your hotel. In the second half of the day visit the great monuments of Delhi, including Qutub Minar, India Gate and President House. Before leaving to your hotel, we will take you to the modest and contemporary temple Akshardham. Here you can enjoy the great architecture of Indian temples along with the evening musical fountain and laser show. Return to your hotel and overnight.

Day 13: Depart to airport for your onward flight.
